Jason makes three compelling arguments. In fact, they are consistent with why I called a top back in March. I am not sure what's next, though. I see a mix of distributed social networking, aggregated identities (like Tumblr, Friendfeed, Posterous) and hubs (Twitter, Facebook and the like). It's still early to say where Google Wave fits.
