The Pitch: Alan Warms of Appolicious

Alan Warms, CEO of Appolicious, stopped by my office today to give me a rundown of his site - a social network for mobile apps. Right now it's just for iPhone apps, but they will be expanding soon to cover Android and Blackberry. For more see this short video. It's an interesting concept, although I would be eager to see them do more to connect to Facebook and to bring the social network to the iPhone - which is in the works.

Steve - thx for posting this. Happy to answer any and all questions from folks here or follow me on twitter (alanwarms).

As for the Android question above -- the answer is in months, we operate on a very fast release cycle with a new build every week. So stay tuned and Anup, if follow me on twitter I'll be sure to tweet when we know more

Alan & Steve - I would definitely like to see a site powerful enough to encourage developers to cross platforms with their apps. Are there plans to add Windows Mobile support? I would love to see my friends favorite iPhone apps available for my Touch Pro2. I bet the developers I'd buy them from would love my money, too.
