Evernote + Lifestream = ???

Evernote yesterday gave user the ability to share any notebook. I am already keeping a notebook in Evernote of things I want to add to the daily lifestream. What if I were to make this notebook public so that you can see what's on my radar? Would it be worthwhile and what could we do with it?

I wrote a post on shared Evernote notebooks being the storyboards of future journalism http://bit.ly/6T1lQ

Steve - followed you for years and always found you to be a great innovator. I've been thinking too about using Evernote's new sharing capabilities and would love to collaborate with your blog in this new adventurous way!

Go for it - I'm very excited to try it out.

@Scott, I may just use it to catalog potential topics as "a runway," then open it up to select contributors. Unfortunately, Evernote killed the widget, so bringing it into the stream may be a challenge. Need to tinker.

Why don't you just wait for Google WAVE to go mainstream?

Well, I love Evernote to begin with, I'm thinking that a publicly shared notebook really is a "lifestream"

evernote is pretty neat but they have a ways to go with their iphone app specifically. i still use it as my main notetaker and hope they improve. have not explored the sharing aspects yet.

We've been talking with Evernote about possibly pulling posts from Evernote based on tag or folder name. Could be interesting!

@Garry - now *that* would be awesome. I find a file things in various notebooks but don't want to necessarily share all my notebooks. A tag would be far, far better

I think this would be an interesting process to see in action - both what's on your radar and how you actually make this work with Evernote. -Chris

I am playing with saving 2D-barcodes and QRcodes from my mobile to a sharing notebook.
that way I can tag them with my own labels/tags.

Evernote just keeps getting better and better. I think the shared folder is a great idea. And then files?

posterous itself currently serves as my 'notebook' to toss ideas, stuff I read, etc. if something sticks, I bulk it up in my blog proper. I'm way too anal about how stuff looks to autopost stuff from posterous so far - that may change if I can figure out more about how to format better in the phone/email/text posting mode.
